CARROTS!!!

Yes-we are now moving on to other veggies and this week it was carrots!!!

Actually-at dinner tonight-he ate the whole container of them!!!

Boy-carrots are hard to clean up. That bib may never be the same!!!

Also-Max sat in the shopping cart like a big boy this week!!! We got out our shopping cart cover and he sat like a big boy in both Target and Lowes!!! AND on Wednesday we took a walk and Max rode in his big boy stroller (not the car seat!!). I have pictures of both on my phone-I'll have to see if I can pull them off of there!!!

Another week....

Max and Mommy are still recuperating from cold's...Max is better than Mommy. I haven't slept well which isn't helping me get any better-but when I lay down I start coughing!!! Grrr!!!! Max is doing great...he's laughing more and getting so much closer to sitting up on his own. We've removed his sleep positioner in his crib and lowered the mattress a level. Since he's rolling more, we needed to put in a breathable bumper (check it out at http://www.breathablebaby.com/)
to keep his little limbs safe.

This brings me to a big point-I have so many friends pregnant and we'll have so many baby friends soon...I'm going to make a must have post in this blog soon...the things we couldn't live without-or at least the things that have made life a whole lot easier!!! Look for it (it's per Erin and Kara's request!!).

We're going into another weekend of Jason and I both working. We're a little bummed we're missing church on Sunday. Jason did get me my annual Easter Lily-he's gotten me one every year we've been together...we've got quite a collection of them in our back flower bed. It smells great on my kitchen table for now and just reminds me that we can celebrate serving a God that loves us-that sent his Son to die for us-and because of that we have eternal life. He is risen indeed!!! Have a blessed Easter weekend!!! Oh-and here is a little someBunny to tell you happy Easter too:

Updates...

Max is having a rough go round with teething and a nasty cold!!! Bless his heart he's just miserable sometimes....then all the sudden he'll give us a gummy smile and crack us up!!!

He's almost sitting up!!! Check it out:


He also just stinking loves his jumparoo!!! It makes him so happy!!! Enjoy-he sure does!!!:


I know-he doesn't look like a kid in teething pain or a cold-but he does have his down moments!!

I can't believe how big he's getting and how observant and active he is!!! There was a little boy at my Bible study yesterday that is about 6 weeks older than Max and I can't imagine what Max is gonna be like in 6 weeks!! He's changing and growing up before our eyes!!!

He's so close to sitting up on his own...so close!!! Then he topples over and thinks it's funny!!!

And yes-we need to take more video and upload it...that is next weeks project!!!
